Need Prescriptions While On Vacation?
If you require urgent or emergency care while you are traveling and need to get a prescription filled, most likely there is a participating pharmacy located near by. Arnett HealthPlans has contracts with several pharmacies that have stores nationwide. National pharmacies participating with Arnett HealthPlans include:
 CVS Pharmacy
Kmart
Meijer
Target
Osco Drug

How Do I get My Prescription Filled?
Simply show your Arnett HealthPlans card as usual, and the pharmacy can process your prescription. You will be charged your normal copayment.
What if I cannot find a Participating Pharmacy?
If there is not a participating pharmacy within 30 miles of where you are traveling or if the pharmacy is unable to process your prescription, purchase the prescription at full price at the nearest pharmacy. Send Arnett HealthPlans a prescription print out from the pharmacy, including the information slip attached to the bag so that we can process a reimbursement for you. This process takes up to thirty (30) days. When a prescription is processed in this manner, there may be additional cost to you for any charges over our contracted cost for the drug.
Important: Always show your Arnett HealthPlans card wherever your are receiving medical services, including pharmacies. |
